Wisconsin State Assembly District Map

Jim Ott
Representative
23rd Assembly District
General Election November 4th, 2014
As a life-long resident of southeastern Wisconsin, I appreciate the natural resources of our state and the efforts of the many great people that make this a wonderful place to live. As a resident of the 23rd Assembly District since 1986, I feel I have a good grasp of the issues that are important to my neighbors.
Obtaining a law degree from Marquette University has helped me to gain a better understanding of constitutional issues and the legislative process. I chair the Assembly Judiciary and Ethics Committee, as well as co-chair the Law Revision Committee. Other committees I serve on include Constitution and Ethics, Veterans Affairs, Criminal Justice, Urban and Local Affairs and the Judicial Council. This summer I will also be chairing a Legislative Council Study Committee on the Transfer of Structured Settlements.
Whether you reside in Mequon, Thiensville, Whitefish Bay, Grafton, Bayside or Fox Point, serving as your representative in the Wisconsin State Assembly is an honor and a responsibility that I take very seriously. Listed below is some on my biographical information. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Between now and November 4th, I hope to meet as many of you in person as possible.
